FSB means artificial fly, spinner, and bait. West Coast Note 1 controls the regional daily-limit and length settings; the West Coast booklet lists no minimum trout or salmon length except for named salmon lake exceptions. The Karamea upstream designated row also carries Note 2, the Designated Waters requirement.
Kakapo River And Lower Gorge Boundaries
The Kakapo River confluence decides whether the designated-water layer is in play. The Lower Gorge cableway decides whether the lower all-year row can be used.

For the upstream designated reach, do not start by comparing only ordinary short licences. Fish & Game's Designated Waters guidance makes the base licence and special-water permission part of one purchase decision.
