FSB means artificial fly, spinner, and bait. The all-year wording applies only to Tuatapere to the sea including Waiau Lagoon. It does not open the Te Anau-Manapouri row, the Mararoa Weir-to-Tuatapere row, tributaries, or the enclosed control-structure side-wall area outside their printed status.
Manapouri Lake Control Structure And Mararoa Weir
The closure is narrow but important. The current Southland table closes the area enclosed by the side-walls of the Manapouri Lake Control Structure/Mararoa Weir downstream of the main control gates. Do not expand that into a statement that all lower Waiau water is closed.
